Signing of the Minutes of the Revised Annual Work Plan between PT Palapa Timur Telematika and BBTNTC

Manokwari | August 13, 2025 PT Palapa Timur Telematika (PTT) and the Cenderawasih Bay National Park Agency (BBTNTC) signed the Minutes (BA) for the Revised Annual Work Plan (RKT) as part of the ongoing collaboration between the two parties. The signing took place at the BBTNTC office in Manokwari, and was attended by PTT's President Director, Leon Kakisina, and BBTNTC's Head of Administration, Nikolas Loli.

This revised RKT (Work Plan) demonstrates PT Palapa Timur Telematika's commitment to the development of a national strategic project, namely the 325-kilometer Palapa Ring Timur fiber optic backbone network, which traverses the Cenderawasih Bay National Park area in Central Papua and West Papua Provinces.

This collaboration, which has been in place for eight years, demonstrates PTT's commitment to ensuring that telecommunications infrastructure development remains aligned with the principles of environmental conservation and sustainable conservation area management.

On this occasion, both parties emphasized the importance of synergy between development and conservation area protection and agreed on the technical steps to be taken in implementing the collaboration going forward.
