Palapa Ring Bakti Smart Deal (BSD) Promotion Program Socialization

Jakarta | August 7-8, 2024 On August 7-8, PTT held a socialization event for the Palapa Ring Bakti Smart Deal (BSD) Promotion Program, as well as a discussion on meeting the needs of customers and potential customers regarding Palapa Ring East products.

The BAKTI Smart Deal Promotion Program is a discount program designed to improve Palapa Ring's service to all partners and potential partners, offering exclusive offers for new purchases or capacity upgrades of Palapa Ring during the third quarter of 2024.

Attended by telecommunications industry partners and speakers from Telkom, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, XL Axiata, and Moratelindo. The event included a sharing session and a joint planning session with potential and existing customers of Palapa Ring East.

This activity is expected to accelerate the penetration of internet and telecommunications services to communities in the 3T (outermost) areas through Palapa Ring East.

Currently, for the East Palapa Ring Project, the capacity achieved is 318 GB, with a target of 800 GB, with a utilization increase of 22% across all segments within a five-year period.
