PTT Holds Training Activities in Keerom, Papua

Keerom, Papua | July 31, 2023 Keerom Regency is located north of Jayapura, with Arso as its capital. Keerom is currently receiving attention from President Joko Widodo regarding the national food barn program. In addition to preparing approximately 10,000 hectares of corn fields to support the program, President Jokowi was also present at the first corn planting and harvest in Keerom. Regent Piter Gusbager emphasized the importance of telecommunications in marketing the crops of the Keerom community.

To support the development of telecommunications and education in the Keerom region, PT Palapa Timur Telematika held fiber optic training at SMKN 1 Keerom. This training helped students learn more about telecommunications technology in the East Palapa Ring project. Attended by over 150 participants from the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) and Multimedia departments, the training was quite interactive, with students enthusiastically asking questions about telecommunications technology.
